Since 2009, we at Musiq Avenue, a London-based DJ team originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, have built a strong reputation for hosting nostalgic musical soirees and themed parties like Afrolecctik, Double Vintage, Masquerade, and our iconic all-white BBQ brunch events. Comprising members Mista Cee, DJ Mujay, and Swift, we specialize in ‘80s and ‘90s soul and soulful afro-house, bringing over 30 years of combined DJing experience to the table. We’ve also hosted radio podcasts and released DJ mixtapes, available on our website.
In addition to our music, we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with comedians and musicians, including Horrace Brown, Paul Lunga, Brooke Bailey, Farai and the Forest Dawn, and Martine Girault, at some of London’s elite West End clubs.
